Purpose
Monitor the health of the backup activities of individual client machines.
Description
Go to Logs > Physical Machines > Backup Logs to view the activity logs of the backed-up physical machines on your IDrive BMR device. You can use the search bar to look up the logs of a specific client or the dropdown menu to view logs of specific or All clients. You also have an All, Warnings, and Errors filter to help you find specific backup activities.
Backup activity logs
The backup log displays the following parameters for every backed-up physical machine:
Last backup time - The date and time of the recent backup of the client.
Hostname - The default or assigned name of the physical machine.
Errors - Displays the number of errors that occurred during the last backup attempt.
Warnings - Displays the number of device warnings with regards to the backup of the physical machine.
Note: Warnings do not necessarily indicate a backup failure. Click on the entry to view detailed information.
Action - The type of backup performed, whether full or incremental.

You can click on the required log to view detailed information.
Save backup logs
Click Export and select CSV, Excel, or PDF to save backup logs in the required format. You can also Copy the logs to the clipboard or Print the logs straight from the device interface.
Live logs
The information detailed in live logs can help you troubleshoot backup issues related to device connectivity, network bandwidth, backup wait time, and so on. Click on the drop-down list and select All Clients or a specific client name for which you want to view the live logs.
