Purpose

Monitor the storage statistics of the physical-machines backup.

Description

Go to Statistics > Storage Insights > Physical Machines to view the statistics of backed-up physical machines.

Backup statistics

The backup statistics display the following parameters for every protected physical machine:

Hostname - The default or assigned name of the physical machine.

Data Size - Displays the actual storage space utilization, which is far less than the original drive size. The IDrive BMR device employs the de-duplication mechanism and compression in the backend to optimize the storage space.

File restore - Displays either highlighted or unhighlighted checkmark, to indicate whether or not it has a mounted file restore session.

Virtualization - Displays either highlighted or unhighlighted checkmark, to indicate whether or not the machine has a mounted virtual instance.

Cloud replication - Displays either highlighted or unhighlighted checkmark, to indicate whether or not the backup of the machine is enabled for cloud replication.

Manage Recovery Points - Click to view and manage the recovery points of the physical machine.

Save backup statistics

Click the Export button on the right side to save backup statistics. You can choose from CSV, Excel or PDF format. You can also print or copy the data on the clipboard.
